A high-end vehicle has joined the Indian Electric Vehicle (EV) market. The Rolls-Royce Spectre has made its market debut in India. The ex-showroom pricing of Rs 7.5 crore has been maintained. This two-door electric coupe is the priciest EV available to individuals in India. Pricing-wise, it falls between Phantom and Cullinan. With the Spectre, Rolls-Royce officially enters the nation’s electric vehicle market.
The Spectre has two electric motors on each axle and a 102kWh battery pack.
Its motor produces a torque of 900 Nm and a total power output of 585 Bhp. A 195 kW charger can charge the Specter’s battery from 10 to 80 percent capacity in just 34 minutes. It can also be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 95 minutes using a 50kW DC charger. According to Rolls-Royce, the Specter’s range (WLTP cycle) is 530 km. It takes only 4.5 seconds for it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.
Spectre weighs 2,890 kilograms.
It is constructed on the all-aluminum Rolls-Royce spaceframe platform, the Architecture of Luxury. On this basis, vehicles like the Phantom, Cullinan, and Ghost are also constructed. On the other hand, the Rolls-Royce Spectre is now thirty percent stiffer. It has dynamic suspension and four-wheel steering. The Rolls-Royce brand’s classic elegance and aerodynamic efficiency are reflected in the Specter’s design.
The large front grille,
split headlamp arrangement with ultra-slim LED daytime running lights (DRL), the aero-tuned spirit of ecstasy, powerful shoulder lines, and sloping lines are some of the highlights of the electric coupe. The wheels are 23 inches and aero-tuned.
