CBSE Board Examination for Classes 10 and 12 in 2024: On February 15, 2024, the 10th and 12th grade exams will be administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Interestingly, CBSE board candidates will have the opportunity to retake the test this year.
CBSE is set to announce admission cards
for the Board Class 10th and 12th exams for 2024 on February 15. A noteworthy development is that CBSE board students will now have the exceptional chance to take the board exams twice a year, beginning this year. In keeping with the New Education Policy (NEP), the Education Ministry just announced this major shift.
Students in the 10th and 12th grades of the CBSE
will now take board examinations twice a year as part of the NEP-driven changes that aim to change the educational system. Although tests are expected to take place in November–December 2024 and February–March 2024, CBSE has not yet released an official timetable.
To improve overall student success rates,
reduce exam-related stress, and modernize the examination system, the Education Ministry presented the New Curriculum Framework (NCF) last year. It proposed biannual board exams. Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister of Education, highlighted that students would be able to choose whether to sit for the Joint Entrance Examination-style board examinations twice a year for classes 10 and 12. What’s more, choosing to participate in this choice is entirely elective.
Board examinations are typically
administered once a year by state boards, such as CBSE. Exams for classes 10 and 12 are usually held from February to April, regardless of the board, such as the UP Board, Rajasthan Board, MP Board, or CBSE Board. For the previous two years, CBSE has regularly scheduled its board exams for grades 10 and 12 beginning on February 15.
