Get your 10-year-old Aadhaar Card updated within 9 days to avoid loses for free

You are eligible to update your Aadhaar card for free if it is also older than ten years. But you only have the final nine days remaining. On June 14th, the free Aadhaar update period will expire. You can update your Aadhaar ID or address proof from the comfort of your own home till June 14th. It is not that you cannot complete the upgrade after June 14; rather, you will be charged a price to complete the update after that date.

Aadhaar CardChance through June 14

Up till June 14, UIDAI is running a special campaign offering free Aadhaar card updates. This campaign aims to encourage people to keep the information in Aadhaar updated. You can update your Aadhaar details for free by visiting the My Aadhaar portal. This facility is currently available only for online updates. If you go to the Aadhaar center and get it updated, you will have to pay a fee. You can change the photo, address, gender, name, date of birth, and address on the UID card without any fee till June 14. The mobile number and email address linked to Aadhaar will also be updated at home.

Aadhaar CardIf not, there will be a cost of Rs 50.

The ability to update your Aadhaar will always be available, but you will be charged Rs 50 if you update after the deadline. In this case, it is preferable to update your Aadhaar card before the deadline if at all possible. Social media users are currently sharing stories of Aadhar cards that are over ten years old, warning that they would expire on June 14 if they are not renewed. We would like to inform you that this news is untrue. I have not received any such news from UIDAI. In actuality, UIDAI has provided details about updating Aadhar. According to this, if you have not updated your Aadhar card for 10 years, then you can get it updated for free. However, it is not said anywhere that Aadhar will become invalid if it is not updated. The mention of 14 June came up because the facility of free Aadhar update is available only till 14 June.

Aadhaar CardHow to get a free update for your Aadhar card
