Why is punch becoming increasingly popular?

Automobile dealers concur that the Punch’s fuel blend is to blame for its present top gear run. A dealer in Chennai stated, “It has grown from just 79,000 units last January-July to 1.26 lakh units now, thanks to its electric and CNG variants.” The other four in the top five list have either CNG or diesel as the only option over petrol.
