The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a large number of openings. Here, open junior engineer positions must be filled. We would like to inform you that the RRB JE enrollment period will expire on August 29, 2024, and that the registration procedure began on July 30, 2024. The application form correction window will be available starting on 30th August to 8th September 2024. The fee will have to be paid for correction in the form. As per the announcement released by the Railway Recruitment Board, qualified applicants will be hired for a total of 7951 Junior Engineer positions within the company through this recruitment process. This will fill 17 positions for Metallurgical Supervisor/Research and Chemical Supervisor/Research. On the other hand, there are 7,934 positions for junior engineers, chemical and metallurgical assistants, and depot material superintendents.
Application age limit
Applicants for these different positions must be at least eighteen years old. On the other hand, a maximum age of 36 has been established. All applicants must pay a 500 rupee application fee; of that amount, 400 will be returned after bank fees are subtracted when the applicant appears in the CBT for the first round. Candidates in the reserved category will receive their Rs 250 fee back after any applicable bank fees are subtracted when they show up for the CBT. Only payments made online for fees via UPI, debit/credit cards, or internet banking will be accepted.
Procedure for Selection
The selection process for junior engineers at the railway involves two phases: a computer-based exam, followed by a medical exam and document verification. In the CBT, incorrect answers will result in negative markings and a 1/3 mark deduction.
