Will consumers now choose to purchase this new model over the 4*2 version?
A fresh take on the Mahindra Thar Roxx
For the Mahindra Thar Roxx MT MX5 version, a new 4*4 model has emerged. This Thar Roxx model is priced starting at Rs 18.79 lakh. Its AX7L manual is also offered for Rs 20.99 lakh at the same time. Concurrently, the cost of the AX5L 4*4 automatic variant of this Thar starts from Rs 20.99 lakh. Its top-end automatic diesel variant is priced at Rs 22.4 lakh. The only 4×4 versions available in Thar Roxx have diesel engines. Its manual-transmission, 4×4 version produces a torque of 330 Nm and power of 111.9 kW. Its automatic 4×4 diesel model produces 370 Nm of torque and 128.6 kW of power simultaneously. On October 3, Mahindra will begin supplying all of these variations.
How much is the new Thar Roxx version going to cost?
When comparing the 4*4 version of Thar Rocks to the 4*2 model, the new model costs two lakh rupees more. But, individuals who go off-road more frequently would benefit from this version. Because power is distributed to all four in 4*4 variants, these versions are more expensive.
Mahindra Thar Roxx Starting Price
If we look at the starting price of Mahindra Roxx, then the price of this 5-door Thar starts from Rs 12.99 lakh and the price of its top model goes up to Rs 22.49 lakh. The RWD variant of Thar Roxx has a 2-liter medallion Turbo Petrol Direct Injection (TGDi) engine. These engines are available in both manual and automatic transmission. At the same time, the diesel engine has a 2.2-liter mHawk powertrain. Both its RWD and 4*4 models have come into the market.
