The Tata Nexon CNG
offers eight trim levels and a starting price of Rs 8 lakh 99 thousand ex-showroom. It includes Creative, Creative +, Fearless + S, Pure, Pure S, Smart (O), Smart +, and Smart + S. Its highest-spec version has been released at Rs 14 lakh 59 thousand (ex-showroom). Tata Motors’ first turbo-charged CNG car is equipped with dual-cylinder technology. This car gets power through a 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine.
Powertrain of Tata Nexon CNG
When powered by a turbo petrol engine, it generates 118 bhp of power and 170 nm of torque. With CNG, it generates 99 bhp of power and 170 nm of torque. The twin-cylinder i-CNG has two 30L cylinders under the boot floor, providing full boot space. Talking about the fuel efficiency of Tata Nexon CNG is 24 km/kg.
Tata Nexon’s design and safety characteristics
In terms of appearance, the Nexon CNG shares design cues with its diesel and gasoline counterparts. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a two-spoke steering wheel, and other goodies are included with the Nexon CNG. Options including six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, ABS-EBD, auto-dimming IRVMs, and a rear defroster are all included with this CNG vehicle. In addition, the Global New Car Assessment Program has awarded the Tata Nexon CNG a 5-star grade. The Tata CNG automobile competes in the market with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG and, in terms of pricing, with the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG variants.
