There are anti-freezing features on this Vande Bharat. Anti-freezing elements are a distinctive feature of the Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat train. Trains on this vital line will operate day and night all year round thanks to the snow-clearing train that runs ahead of passenger and freight trains.
Water tanks and bio-toilets won’t freeze thanks to the train’s heating system. Even in below-freezing temperatures, the driver’s windshield and air brakes will function. This will guarantee connectivity between the two locations under any weather conditions. Because the region is located in Zone-V for earthquakes, the railways have employed vibration-resistant seismic equipment in this project.
