VinFast is getting ready to enter the Indian market shortly. It will be introduced by the company in September 2025. The automaker is reportedly planning to introduce its first electric SUV in India before the holiday season.
Which vehicle will be released first?
The Vinfast VF7 electric SUV is reportedly scheduled to make its debut in the Indian market initially. The battery has a capacity of 75.3 kWh and can travel 431 kilometers. It has 348 horsepower thanks to the motor that’s fitted.
VF6 will arrive as the backup vehicle.
As Vinfast’s second vehicle, the VF6 will also be introduced to the Indian market. With a battery capacity of 59.6 kWh, the motor generates 201 horsepower. On a single charge, the SUV can go up to 381 kilometers.
The debut of this EV is scheduled for early 2026.
The firm plans to introduce the VF3 as its third vehicle in the Indian market, following the release of two electric SUVs in 2025. It will be a little electric car that goes up against the Tata Tiago EV and the MG Comet EV. VinFast VF 3 may be powered by an 18.64 kWh battery pack. It comes with an electric motor that can provide 110 Newton meters of torque and 41 PS of power. With just one charge, the battery can travel up to 215 kilometers. In just 36 minutes, its battery can be charged from 10 to 70 percent.
Reservations will open soon.
Bookings for these vehicles will shortly be made by the manufacturer. The report indicates that reservations for these vehicles will open in late June or early July.

VinFast had previously brought these vehicles to the Indian market during the January 2025 Auto Expo. The VF7 and VF6 were formally presented by the company in January. All of the other vehicles in its collection were also on display.
