The announcement states that 57 positions will be filled, with 50 of those positions designated for civil engineers and seven for mechanical engineers.

What qualification is appropriate?

Applicants for these positions should be graduates of an accredited university with a BE or B.Tech degree. In mechanical engineering for mechanical positions and in civil engineering for civil positions.

Maximum Age

The candidate should be at least 21 years old and no older than 40. Candidates from the SC, ST, and OBC categories in Uttar Pradesh will also have their maximum age limit relaxed by five years. Candidates with disabilities will receive 15 years of relaxation, while veterans will receive 3 years of relaxation in addition to the benefits of their army service.

Selection will take place without a test; however, a GATE score is required.

The fact that there won’t be a written test makes this recruitment unique. The GATE 2025 score will be used to choose the candidates. In other words, young people who took the GATE 2025 exam (in the civil or mechanical subjects) and received a valid score are eligible to apply for this position.
