Lunar Eclipse 2025

Astrologers advise people to abstain from food and liquids during the moon eclipse in 2025…. The idols of gods and goddesses should also not be touched. Throughout Sutak and until the eclipse’s conclusion, worship Lord Shiva and Vishnu. After the eclipse is over, worship Lord Vishnu, meditate, and take a bath.

In Sanatan Dharma, eclipses have a special meaning. On the day of Amavasya, there is a solar eclipse. On the day of Purnima, a lunar eclipse also takes place. Rahu’s influence on Earth is greatly amplified during the eclipse. Because of this, Sutak is not allowed to do any auspicious labor until the eclipse is over. When does a lunar eclipse take place?

Vedic experts say that a lunar eclipse happens on the day of the full moon. The first lunar eclipse of this year took place on March 14. On the other hand, Bhadrapada Purnima will see the year’s second moon eclipse. India will be able to see it. This will also apply to Sutak.

Sutak

The Sutak is nine hours long and begins nine hours before to the day of the lunar eclipse. However, the Sutak lasts for 12 hours on the day of the solar eclipse. To put it simply, the Sutak is of four prahars on the day of the solar eclipse. However, the Sutak is of three prahars on the day of the moon eclipse. On Bhadrapada Purnima, there will be a nine-hour Sutak for this. The Sutak is scheduled to begin in the afternoon on the day of Bhadrapada Purnima.
