There is good news for you if you have a B.Ed. and are considering a career in teaching. The Sainik School in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, has published a notice for the TGT and PGT teacher positions. These appointments will be scheduled for courses in social sciences, biology, and mathematics. Interested parties have until August 8, 2025, to apply.
Which positions are open?
Three positions in all are up for recruitment. Two of these posts—one for the social science subject and one for biology—are for PGT. One post, however, is for TGT Mathematics. While the other two positions will be filled on a contractual basis, PGT (Biology) will be recruited on a regular basis.
What qualification is appropriate?
In addition to a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the relevant field, candidates applying for these positions must additionally hold a B.Ed. This degree must have come from an NCTE-approved institution. Joint degree holders are also eligible to apply. What is the upper age limit?
For both PGT (Social Science) and TGT (Mathematics), the upper age limit should be 35.
For PGT (Biology), a candidate’s maximum age has been set at 40.
For all positions, the minimum age has been maintained at 21.
How much will I be paid?
47,600 for PGT (Biology) every month
The monthly remuneration for TGT (Mathematics) and PGT (Social Science) would be Rs 54,000.
How will the selecting procedure be carried out?
Written exams, skill tests, and interviews will all be used in the selection process. Candidates who receive a minimal score on the written exam will be contacted for further consideration.
What is the cost of the application?
There will be an application cost of Rs 400, which must be paid online. However, the price is waived for candidates in the SC, ST, and female categories.
