Bank Jobs 2025: The Bank of Maharashtra is hiring for a number of positions, including Officer Scale-2, where the chosen applicants would receive a competitive remuneration. Let’s hear the specifics.

The hiring procedure for Bank of Maharashtra’s Officer Scale 2 (Generalist Officer) positions has begun. This recruitment will fill 84 positions in total, and interested applicants can apply online by going to the bank’s official website, bankofmaharashtra.in. The application deadline is September 30.

A BE, BTech, MSc, or MCA degree from an accredited institution or institute is required for the Officer Scale 2 position. When it comes to age, the candidate must be at least 25 years old and no older than 50. According to government regulations, candidates from the reserved category are eligible for a waiver in the maximum age.

Those chosen for this position will receive a generous remuneration. In Scale II, the base pay ranges from Rs 64,820 to Rs 93,960 per month. In addition, the bank offers further salary grades. Scale III salaries range from Rs 85,920 to Rs 1,05,280, while Scale IV salaries range from Rs 1,02,300 to Rs 1,20,940.

Scale V and Scale VI have been set at Rs 1,20,940 to Rs 1,35,020 and Rs 1,40,500 to Rs 1,56,500 per month, respectively. With allowances, the in-hand pay rises even further.

The candidates will be assessed in two stages during the selection process. The candidates’ skills and knowledge will be assessed in the first phase through a written exam. The ultimate selection will be made based on the results of an interview round that follows.

Applicants must pay an application fee in order to be considered for the position. While the application cost for SC and ST applicants is only Rs 118, it is Rs 1,180 for general, OBC, and EWS candidates.

After that, accurately complete the necessary fields, upload a passport-size photo and your signature, and pay the application fee. Take a printout of the completed form and carry it with you.
