Creators that use AI to produce content might face more stringent regulations. Indeed, some guidelines for people who produce such content have been proposed by a parliamentary committee.
There’s major news for you if you use AI to help you create content for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. New guidelines for content creators using AI have been proposed by a parliamentary committee. Among these significant recommendations are the necessity of licensing and appropriate labeling for articles and films produced by artificial intelligence. These recommendations’ primary objective is to prevent the production and dissemination of false information using artificial intelligence (AI). Please tell us more about this.
Proposal to require AI to be labeled
The Speaker of the Lok Sabha has received the report from the Standing Committee on Communication and Information Technology. The paper highlights the necessity for stringent legal and technological regulations in order to detect and bring charges against individuals and organizations using artificial intelligence to propagate false information. The committee warned that fake news propagated by companies and persons not only poses a threat to law and order, it also confuses people. This should be avoided by requiring that content produced by AI be labelled and that authors who use AI to create content obtain a license. People will find it simpler to recognize images, videos, and other AI-generated content as a result.

What effect does it have on creators?
The government recently received the committee’s suggestions on how to outlaw fake news. These recommendations have not yet been enacted into law. Regarding the effects on authors, if the law incorporates these recommendations, they will be required to identify AI-generated work. People will find it easy to recognize as a result, and they won’t be duped by false information produced by AI.
