Petrol and diesel prices in the country have remained stable for a long time. For nearly two months, government oil companies have not changed the price of gasoline and diesel. On the other hand, the price of CNG has changed in a short period of time. In some areas, the price of CNG is now equal to or even higher than the price of gasoline. Similar incidents have been reported in Uttar Pradesh. CNG used to be less expensive than gasoline and diesel, but it is now extremely costly for the majority of people.
CNG price hiked
The inflationary war on the people is not going away. People’s budgets are becoming jumbled in some areas as a result of the increase in the price of CNG. Petrol costs Rs 96.57 in Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. Diesel, on the other hand, costs Rs 89.76 here. However, the cost of CNG has risen in this country as well. Green Gas Limited (GGL) raised CNG prices in Lucknow and Unnao by Rs 5.3 per kg on Sunday.
Have to pay more
In addition, starting Tuesday, August 1, people in Lucknow will have to pay Rs 96.10 per kg for CNG. Aside from that, Unnao in Unnao has a price of Rs 97.55 per kg. CNG prices have increased for the third time this financial year.
Already Increased
Since March of this year, CNG prices have been rising. CNG cost Rs 90.80 per kg in Lucknow and Rs 92.25 in Unnao earlier in July. GGL had increased Rs. 2 earlier in May.
