Work is being done on such a system, in which the salary will be automatically revised if the DA is more than 50 percent. For this, an ‘automatic pay revision system’ can also be made. Employees argue that given the current inflation rate, it will be difficult for them to survive with the salary hike recommendations from 2016.
With the implementation of the new system, the minimum salary of central employees with a pay scale of 1 to 5 can be 21 thousand. By changing the trend of Pay Commission, this time the new formula can be implemented in 2024. Apart from this, there are reports of increasing the fitment factor of central employees in some media reports. If the fitment factor is increased by the government, increasing the financial burden could be a problem.
