How to apply for this scheme? 

You can take advantage of this scheme by visiting the current MP or MLA of your area. Your MP or MLA will forward your application to the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation.

Apart from this, you can also submit the application to the state government or district administration as per the rules. Your application will be forwarded to the state government or district administration, Dr. Ambedkar Foundation.

Who can take advantage of this scheme? 

If you want to take advantage of this scheme and you come from the general category, then you have to marry a girl from the Dalit community, that is, the bride and groom should not be of the same caste. Apart from this, you will have to register the marriage under the Hindu Marriage Act 1955. Keep in mind, you must not have been married before. If you are getting married for the second time then you cannot avail the benefits of this scheme. Apart from this, if you have taken advantage of any other scheme of the Central Government or the State Government, then that amount will be reduced, ie if you have received Rs 50,000 in any other scheme, then the government will deduct Rs 50,000. And send 2 lakh rupees to your bank account. ,

The caste certificate of the newly married couple has to be attached with the application.

Marriage certificate will also have to be given along with the application.

An affidavit of being married will also have to be submitted.

One important document has to be attached to prove that this is your first marriage.

It is necessary to give income certificate to husband and wife.

Joint bank account will have to be given so that money can come in it.

After the application is submitted, an amount of Rs 1.5 lakh is transferred to the bank account of the spouses. Apart from this, the remaining FD is Rs 1 lakh.
