Peter Salk, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, said in an ‘online’ interaction that the company plans to introduce Skoda’s first electric SUV Enyaq iV 80X as a completely built unit (CBU) here in the next financial year.
According to Skoda, the Enyaq iV 80x SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.9 seconds. It can offer a WLTP-rated range of up to 513 km on a single charge. The Škoda Enyaq iV is offered worldwide in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The features list includes a digital instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Salk said that for 2023 the company will be on a rapid growth path with more products and the path forward will build on last year’s success. He added, “India is one of the top three markets for Skoda Auto globally. It is the largest market for the company outside Europe. Other top markets for the company are Germany and the Czech Republic.
