Why is it important to keep Aadhaar updated
Aadhaar number issued by the Government of India is an important document for any person. Much important information about the person is associated with this number. The benefits of many government schemes are made available to the people through the Aadhaar card. Along with this, the Aadhaar number is also used as an identity for getting government or private services. If for any reason the information in the Aadhaar number is entered old or entered incorrectly, then the person’s application can be canceled or stopped. In such a situation, UIDAI gives such facilities to the people so that they can easily rectify their information. Some of these services can be improved by the cardholder sitting at home.
