The brand-new Tiago EV electric car was unveiled by Tata Motors in September 2022, but deliveries didn’t begin until February of this year. As evidence of its success, the business has just announced that it has produced 10,000 Tiago EV units in just four months. When pre-orders for the Tiago EV began in September 2022, 10,000 were placed within a single day. Up until December 2022, Tata Motors has taken 20,000 orders for the Tiago EV. The business, however, does not currently know how many reservations it has.

which comes in two battery pack sizes: 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh. The electric motor in the car that uses both batteries produces 60 and 74 horsepower, respectively. The 24 kWh battery pack has a driving range of 315 km on a single full charge, compared to the 19.2 kWh battery pack’s 250 km. With a DC fast charger, this EV may be charged in one hour as opposed to up to 8.7 hours with a regular charger.
The Tata Tiago EV has priced ex-showroom between Rs. 8.69 lakhs and Rs. 11.99 lakhs.
It directly competes with the Tata Tigor EV electric car, Citroen eC3, and MG Comet EV electric car. The most affordable electric vehicle in the nation is the freshly released MG Comet EV.
