The Xiaomi SU7 entry-level electric car will include a 73.6 kWh battery pack. The top-tier model will come with a bigger 101 kWh battery pack. Xiaomi has created its technology known as Cell-to-Body. The EV manufacturer claims that the SU7 will have an 800 km range on a single charge.

Ahead of its launch later this year, the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has released the first official photos of the SU7, its first electric car. The EV manufacturer had unveiled the SU7’s external design the previous year. Code-named Speed Ultra, this electric vehicle is a performance model. This electric sedan will make its debut at the Beijing Auto Show in competition with the Tesla Model S. Xiaomi has stated that the SU7 will be delivered early this year, although it has not yet disclosed all of the EV’s specifications or cost.

The Xiaomi SU7’s dashboard lacks tactile buttons, contributing to the device’s futuristic interior appearance. Along with having a dual-tone theme, it has a large panoramic sunroof. The Xiaomi SU7 features a large multimedia screen in the middle, with a wireless charging zone below it that supports 55W rapid charging. Physical controls on the dashboard control important functions including air conditioning, fan speed, suspension, start-stop capability, and a handy cup holder. Two separate entertainment screens are also available for rear-seat passengers, guaranteeing a customized experience apart from the front touchscreen display.
With measurements
of 4,997 mm in length, 1,963 mm in width, and 1,455 mm in height, the Xiaomi SU7 is a four-door electric sedan with a 3,000 mm wheelbase. Xiaomi provides flexibility to accommodate different energy storage requirements. It is available in two variants depending on battery capacity.

Furthermore, later in 2025, Xiaomi intends to release the V8 model, which will have a large 150 kWh battery pack and an amazing 1,200 km range.
