New Maruti Swift bookings begin at the dealership, know the details

The second week of May will see the release of the fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift. While formal reservations are still pending, a few Maruti Suzuki Arena outlets have begun accepting pre-orders for a nominal fee of Rs 11,000 already. This hatchback may have new engine options, more features, and a much nicer look. It can have a higher mileage than the current model. The Swift that will be available in India in 2024 will change slightly in appearance from the model that is now operating in Japan.

The existing K-Series, 4-cylinder engine may be replaced by a brand-new, 1.2L, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated Z-Series petrol engine (codename: Z12) in the new generation Swift.  This new engine is comparatively light. Mild hybrid technology may also be included in the new Z-Series engine, which will improve mileage even more. The next-generation Dezire compact sedan from Maruti Suzuki is scheduled to debut during the 2024 holiday season and is also expected to use the same engine.

A 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity that is mounted on the front of the vehicle is possible for the new Swift.
