The Tata Nexon made its debut in 2017. Tata Motors has sold over 7 lakh Nexon cars in the past seven years. The business is currently celebrating it. From 2021 to 2023, it was the best-selling SUV in India for three years in a row.
Additionally, in 2018 it was the first automobile
in India to be awarded a 5-star rating by Global NCAP. Tests using the revised 2022 protocol yielded a 5-star rating for the new generation Nexon SUV in February 2024. Bharat-NCAP recently awarded the Nexon EV a 5-star rating for this month. The Nexon, which comes with various engine options including electric, diesel, and gasoline, has seen a sharp increase in sales in recent years. In the last two years (2022 and 2023), more than 3 lakh units have been sold.

At every Tata Motors passenger vehicle dealer and showroom,
celebrations are being held to commemorate the sale of seven lakh Nexon vehicles and the model’s seventh year. In addition, the business is providing incentives of up to Rs 1 lakh on Nexon depending on the model and variant. According to Vivek Srivastava, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., Nexon has raised the bar in terms of design, comfort, safety, and driving since its 2017 launch.
