IRCTC New Facility:  You try to book tickets months in advance for confirmed tickets on the train. When you don’t get a confirmed ticket, you also have to go through the tatkal and agent’s affair. But now you don’t have to do that. If any berth is vacant in a train, then you will get to know about it immediately, and you will be able to book that ticket immediately. Know about this new service of IRCTC.

How do find out the vacant berth on the train?

Actually, when you book tickets online by visiting the IRCTC website, you can see the availability of seats on all trains. If the seat is empty then you book and if it is not vacant then you take a waiting ticket on the basis of luck or if there is more waiting then you do not book. IRCTC introduced a push notification facility

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has started the facility of Push Notifications. With this, users will be able to get information about many types of facilities including seat availability. IRCTC has recently updated its website, in which many new features have also been added. Whenever a seat is vacant in a train, its notification will go on the mobile of the users. Users can then book the vacant seat at their convenience. For this, the user will first have to go to the website of IRCTC and take the facility of push notifications.

Get confirmed ticket immediately

Think of it in such a way that suppose you are booking a seat on a train for a certain date, but you do not see any seat available on the train, then you will not book the ticket. After this, you have checked the availability of tickets on all the trains. If a passenger cancels his ticket, then a notification will come on your mobile, this SMS will also contain the information of the train number, after which if you want, you can book this ticket and travel immediately.

Push notification option

When you open the IRCTC website, you get the option of push notifications. Customers can subscribe to this exclusive service absolutely free of cost. For this, they have to register by visiting the official website of IRCTC and subscribe to this service. IRCTC currently has more than 30 million users.
