Every young person aspires to enlist in the Indian Army. The Army Dental Corps is a fantastic chance for medical professionals, particularly students and doctors, to serve their country and give their careers a new direction. The Indian Army has announced the Army Dental Corps Short Service Commission Recruitment 2025 notification. This also marks the beginning of the application process.
Interested candidates can visit the official website at join.afms.gov.in to complete the online form. Remember that September 17, 2025, has been set as the application deadline. In other words, you’re running out of time.
What qualification is appropriate?
Candidates should carefully review their educational background and other credentials before applying. A BDS or MDS degree from a college or institution approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI) is required in order to apply for this position.
The age restriction has also been set. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and no older than 45 to be eligible to apply. The age restriction for candidates in the reserved category will also be loosened in accordance with the regulations. Age will be determined as of December 31, 2025.
Additionally, physical fitness is required.
Male candidates should be at least 157 cm tall. A female candidate must be at least 152 cm tall. Candidates from hilly regions and North-East states are held to a significantly lower level. There, men must be 152 cm tall and women must be 147 cm tall.
The application fee will be this amount.
Remember that all applicants must pay an application fee of Rs 200 when completing the form. The only way to pay this fee is online. Applications submitted for free will not be considered.
