Indian Railways: Indian Railway gives big relief, reduced platform ticket price

The havoc of Coronavirus has gradually reduced in the country. With this, Indian Railways has also started removing many restrictions. Now the Central Railway has decided to reduce the platform ticket price. People coming to drop their friends and relatives at the station will get great relief from this. Recently, the Indian Railways had decided to stop all special trains and make them operational as before.

Platform ticket price reduced

Central Railway has announced that platform tickets will now be available again for Rs 10 instead of Rs 50. According to the order, platform tickets at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Dadar (Dadar), LLT, Thane, Kalyan, and Panvel stations will now be available for Rs 10.

Why did the Railways take this decision?

It is worth noting that when the cases of coronavirus were more in the country, then the Indian Railways had stopped the operation of normal trains. The numbers of normal trains had also changed during Kovid. He was put in the special category. Meanwhile, Indian Railways had also increased the price of platform tickets from Rs 10 to Rs 50. Actually, this was done so that the crowd on the platform should be reduced, apart from the passengers, no one else came to the railway station.

Relief to passengers due to the reduced infection rate

But after improving the situation, normal trains have started running again. The numbers of special trains have been changed to general category again. In fact, due to the rapid vaccination campaign in India, the coronavirus infection rate has come down significantly.
