India has grown to be one of the world’s largest data consumers. The amount of data consumed has increased as internet service has stretched to every nook and cranny of the country. The sky is one region where Indians are still unable to access internet connectivity. However, in the near future, Indians will be able to access the internet from space. SpiceJet, a major Indian airline, has stated that it intends to deploy broadband internet to its planes as soon as possible.

What did Spicejet’s chairman have to say?
SpiceJet Chairman Ajay Singh stated that the airline will soon offer broadband internet access in its aircraft. He stated on Monday that the business will integrate Boeing-737 MAX aircraft into its fleet within the next several months. SpiceJet has a fleet of 91 aircraft, 13 of which are MAX aircraft and 46 of which are older variants of Boeing-737 aircraft, according to the airline’s website.

Spicejet is developing this strategy.
In an email to staff on the airline’s 17th anniversary, Singh stated that SpiceJet is flying with more passengers on a monthly basis and that this number is projected to rise in the future months. “The Boeing 737 MAX aircraft has successfully returned to service, and passengers have provided positive feedback,” Singh said. During the next six months, the airline plans to replace all of its aging aircraft with MAX planes.”

According to Singh, SpiceJet’s network would be expanded to connect more locations in India and beyond the world.
