Car Parking New Rules : A reward of Rs 500 will be given for sending a photo of a wrongly parked vehicle on the road, the vehicle owner will be fined Rs 1000

Car Parking New Rules Car parking in India has always been a problem and many times people end up parking wrongly, causing a lot of trouble to others. But now efforts are being made to control it. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said that soon anyone who sends a photograph of a wrongly parked vehicle may get a reward of Rs 500 for a fine of Rs 1,000.

People will be fined
Gadkari stated at an event that he is considering enacting legislation to end the practice of improperly parking vehicles on the roadways. He said, ‘I am going to bring a law, in which a fine of Rs 1,000 will be imposed on the person who parked the vehicle on the road, then the person who sends the photo from his mobile will get Rs 500. Solve the parking problem. ,

People do not construct parking spaces for their automobiles, according to the Minister, and instead, park them on the road. Delhiites are lucky as we have made a road for them to park their vehicles. Nobody makes parking spaces, thus most people park their cars on the street.

Recently, rules have been made regarding multilevel car parking.
New rules have been brought only last month regarding the new Multilevel Car Parking (MLCP) project. Under this, senior officials of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) said that in all new multilevel car parking projects in the city, the commercial component will be decided on the basis of the size of the plot. Also, height restrictions have been imposed on such facilities.

As per the new rule, for plots up to 3,000 square meters, the estimated floor area ratio (FAR) is 100. But if the size of the area is more than 3,000 sqm, the developer gets FAR 100 for the first 3,000 sqm and an additional FAR 60 for additional land. In such a situation, the problem of parking is being reduced by creating a multilevel parking facility in Delhi.
