NEED TO LINK AADHAAR CARD WITH PAN? HERE ARE WAYS TO DO IT

If your Permanent Account Number (PAN) is not linked to your Aadhaar card, your PAN will be held ‘inoperative’ from next year. The income tax department has increased the deadline for PAN-Aadhaar linking. Now, you have time till 31 March 2021 to do the same.

After the 2018 Supreme Court judgment on constitutional the legality of the Aadhaar, it is necessary to link the Aadhaar card with a PAN card for filing income tax returns (ITR). For new users of PAN card, the interlinking is done automatically during the application stage.
