This committee consists of Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Water Supply Minister BD Kalla, Medical Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma, Minister of State for Education Govind Singh Dotasara, and Minister of State for Medicine, Dr. Subhash Garg. The Group of Ministers will give their suggestions on Thursday, after which Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will take a decision.

In the cabinet meeting, all the ministers told CM Ashok Gehlot that to postpone marriage events for some time to curb the fast-spreading infection in the villages, only court marriages should be done if there is a lot of need. Also, by strictly enforcing the guidelines of the Red Alert Curfew, it was suggested to reduce the traffic.
According to the number of active cases, the state currently requires 615 metric tons of medical oxygen, while the availability is only 351 metric tons, if the same rate of infection remains, by May 15, the oxygen requirement will be around 795 metric tons. Also, 26 additional tankers are required in the state for oxygen uptake.
It was also decided in the cabinet that oxygen plants will be built in 59 local bodies of Rajasthan in two months at a cost of 125 crores. The possibility of a third wave was discussed along with the second wave in the meeting. In order to save the lives of the people of the state, the state government should mobilize the necessary resources for the management of Covid in time.
