New Delhi, India: Metro train services in Delhi will be suspended (May 10). Metro services that ran for a limited time in increments for citizens who were exempted from traveling during the lockdown will now be fully suspended.
In Delhi, tighter restrictions have been placed as the national capital continues to struggle to curb the recent increase in COVID-19 incidents. The lockdown in Delhi has been extended for another week, according to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The shutdown was scheduled to end at 5 a.m. on May 10 (Monday), but it will now last until 5 a.m. on May 17. (Monday).

Delhi’s metro service will be suspended for at least a week, until May 17th morning. Whether or not the Delhi lockdown is prolonged would determine when they are operational again.
