Tonse, MD and CEO, SBI said, “We believe that there is tension around passive funds in the world and in India, so investors want to invest according to an index. Investing in ETFs is beneficial for those who want to invest in a wide range of asset classes at a low cost. The addition of actively managed funds through SBI ETF consumption will help in growing its portfolio of offerings in the passive investment segment.

Nifty India Consumption Index designed the ETF SBI Mutual Fund to monitor the behavior and performance of companies in the diversified portfolio that represents the domestic consumption sector is. This includes consumer non-durables, healthcare, auto, telecommunications services, pharmaceuticals, hotels, media, and entertainment.
