New SBI YONO App Rule: Customers can now log in to SBI’s YONO Application (SBI YONO) using only the phone number that has been registered with the bank. Know all of the rules inside and out.

Customers of SBI, the country’s largest public sector bank, have received some extremely crucial news. For the safety of its consumers, the bank has implemented significant modifications. Customers can now only log in to SBI’s YONO application from the phone whose cell number has been registered with the bank as a result of this modification. That is, you can no longer obtain bank services by dialing any number. Customers will be protected from online banking fraud as a result of the bank’s action.

Online banking fraud protection

SBI introduces new services for its consumers on a regular basis. This new feature has been added to the Yono app in response to the rising number of cases of online fraud. Customers will benefit from this not only in terms of a safe banking experience but also in terms of avoiding falling victim to online fraud.

The bank itself provided details.

Customers should use the same phone that their cell number is registered with the bank for new registration, according to the bank’s official Twitter handle. That is, if a YONO account holder tries to log in with a different phone number, SBI will not enable them to perform any transactions.

YONO SBI is a safe place to bank.

The security elements of YONO SBI are being improved. Only phones with the bank’s registered mobile number will be able to access YONO SBI with the latest upgrade.

There are also rules for phone numbers.

Customers can no longer log in to the app using any phone under this new rule, whereas previously they could. You can now utilize the yono service using the same phone number that you enrolled in. According to the bank, this increases the security options available to customers.
