Ola Electric: The company had already announced the prices of electric scooters. The ex-showroom price of the S1 variant of the Ola electric scooter is Rs 99,999. The sale will be resumed after a week.
The sale of the Ola Electric scooter has been postponed, earlier it was scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, but due to a technical fault, its sale could not start for the whole day. Later the company has postponed its sale till next week.
Now the sale will start from 15th September
The online sale of Ola Electric scooters S1 and S1 Pro will now start from September 15, 2021 at 8 am. Ola Chairman and Group CEO Bhavish Aggarwal himself has given this information to the customers through Twitter. Explaining the reasons for postponing sales to the people, customers have apologized for not starting online sales.
The company apologized to the customers
He said that – We had committed to start shopping for our Ola S1 scooter from today but unfortunately, we faced several technical difficulties in getting our website live for purchase today. I want to apologize to all of you who had to wait for many hours. The website was not up to our expectations on quality. I know we’ve let you down and I apologize to all of you for an obviously disappointing experience.
Before postponing the sale, it was said in a tweet from the company that the online sale of Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters will start from 9 pm, but then due to technical fault it was postponed till 15 September.

How much will be the price
Let us tell you that Ola Electric has already announced the prices of both these electric scooters. The ex-showroom price of the S1 variant of the Ola electric scooter is Rs 99,999, while the ex-showroom price of the S1 Pro variant is Rs 1,29,999.
How much will be the EMI
In a statement issued by Ola Electric, it has been said that the EMI for the S1 scooter will start from Rs 2,999 per month. Whereas for the S1 Pro, the EMI will start from Rs 3,199. If you need financing, OFS (Ola Financial Services) has tied up with leading banks including IDFC First Bank, HDFC and Tata Capital to help you finance your Ola S1. For vehicle insurance, buyers can insure scooters through the Ola and Ola Electric apps. The insurance partner of the company is ICICI Lombard.
HDFC Bank will provide pre-approved loans to eligible customers on Ola and Ola Electric apps within minutes. In a statement issued by Ola, it has been said that Tata Capital and IDFC First Bank will process digital KYC and will give instant loan approval to eligible customers. If you don’t need finance, you can make an advance payment of Rs 20,000 for Ola S1 or Rs 25,000 for Ola S1 Pro and pay the rest when we invoice your scooter.
Delivery starts from next month
According to Ola Electric, the delivery of the scooter will start from October 2021. From this month, the company will also give test rides. There is also an option to cancel the order after the test ride, provided the scooter has not been shipped for delivery from the Ola factory.
Range of 181 kms
The S1 variant of the Ola electric scooter gives a range of 121 kms on a full charge. While the S1 Pro variant runs 181 km on a single charge. The S1 variant accelerates from 0-40 kmph in 3.6 seconds, while the S1 Pro variant does 0-40 kmph in 3 seconds.
