Tata Punch launch: Price Rs 5.49 lakh, with amazing Mileage

Tata Motors has made a big bang in the Indian market. The company has launched Tata Punch in the Indian market at an initial price of Rs 5.49 lakh. Customers were eagerly waiting for this sub-compact SUV. The company has launched Tata Punch in 4 variants.  

Tata Motors has launched the Tata Punch in Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative variants. The starting price of Tata Punch Pure is Rs 5.49 lakh, while the starting price of the top variant Tata Punch Creative is Rs 8.49 lakh. 

If you are looking to buy Tata Punch, then you can book by paying 21 thousand rupees. Its pre-booking is open from October 4. In the Indian market, the Tata Punch is going to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite as well as the soon-to-be-launched Hyundai Casper and Citroen C3.  

Let us know what are the features of Tata Punch. Tata Motors claims that the Tata Punch is the best car in its segment. The company says that the price at which Tata Punch has been launched. This will be liked by the customers. Other vehicles in this segment are much more expensive than this. 

From the safety point of view, Tata Punch has got a 5-star rating from the Global NCAP. After Tata Nexon and Tata Altroz, now Tata Punch has got 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. In the Global NCAP, Tata Punch has a 5-star rating (16,453) for adult occupant protection and a 4-star rating (40,891) for child occupant protection.

The Tata Punch is powered by the new generation 1.2 liter Revotron BS-VI engine. Which comes with the new Dyna-Pro technology. This engine can generate power of 85hp and torque of 113Nm. The car gets 5-speed manual and automatic transmission modes. Apart from this, city and eco drive modes can be selected according to the need.  

Talking about mileage, the company claims that Tata Punch is capable of giving 18.97 kmpl in manual transmission and 18.82 kmpl in automatic. The Tata Punch is shorter than the premium hatchback Maruti Swift, which is one of the top-10 selling cars in the country, at 3.85 meters in length. The size of Tata Punch is 3.82 meters. The Tata Punch has been developed on the Alpha platform on the lines of the premium hatchback Altroz.  

Like a regular SUV, the Tata Punch gets 4 main features, which make it a complete SUV even in a smaller size. It gets higher ground clearance, a commanding drive position, better space for all passengers, and high-end features. It has a ground clearance of 193mm which is usually up to 170mm in hatchback cars. At the same time, it gets 16-inch diamond-cut wheels that make its drive smooth. 

The micro SUV Tata Punch has a semi-digital instrument cluster, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, flat-bottom steering, IRA Connected feature pack.
