Corona: Why is Omicron considered the most dangerous? That’s the only reason

You must not have forgotten Delta yet. That’s why today we will tell you how to be careful with Omicron. Meanwhile, India has prepared a list of high-risk countries, from where strict rules will be applicable to the people coming from. So if you want to avoid Omicron, then you must read this news.

Today we will first introduce you to the new form of coronavirus. Now the coronavirus is spreading all over the world in its new variant i.e. its new form and its name is Omicron. This virus has been found for the first time in South Africa and is rapidly spreading all over the world. So far its entry has been done in 16 countries.

How dangerous is the new variant from Delta?

Doctors say that this coronavirus is 7 times more deadly than the previous variant Delta and it spreads many times faster. You must not have forgotten Delta yet. That’s why today we will tell you how to be careful with Omicron. Meanwhile, India has prepared a list of high-risk countries, from where strict rules will be applicable to the people coming from. So if you want to avoid Omicron, then you must read this news.

According to a recent study, as much as the delta variant of Corona spread in 100 days, it has spread in just 15 days. So far 32 mutations have taken place in this variant. When a virus mutates rapidly i.e. changes its form, it becomes very difficult to fight it.

The danger of destruction from the new variant

In the last year, WHO has placed five variants of Corona in the list of Variant of Concern. Among them was the Delta Variant, due to which the second wave of corona came in India. About two and a half to three lakh people died in this wave. Now imagine how dangerous this new variant would prove to be when the delta variant brought so much devastation. Well, till now the world does not know much about this new variant.

Scientists know that this variant can infect more and more people. But they do not know how many patients need to be hospitalized after getting infected with it. This information can be known only when continuous Genome Sequencing of the virus is done in all countries.

Suppose 100 new cases of the corona were found in a country in a day. If their Genome Sequencing is not done then it will not be known whether people in that country have been infected with the new variant or the old one and how dangerous this virus is.

For example, Genome Sequencing is not being done for even one percent of corona cases in India, so that it can be found out whether this variant has reached our country or not and how dangerous it is. However, considering some people suspicious, their samples are definitely being investigated.
