The Bihar government has issued the holiday calendar for colleges and institutions for the year 2022.
Bihar Holiday Calendar 2022: The Bihar Education Department has distributed the calendar for the year 2022 to colleges and universities in the state. In the coming year, educational institutions will be closed for 82 days out of 365. As soon as Governor Fagu Chauhan recognized the holiday calendar, Joint Secretary Praveen Kumar Gupta announced it.

There will be 8 days of holiday
There will be an 8-day holiday, and according to the new calendar, there will be an 82-day break for university and college teachers and staff. There will be eight Sundays and seventy-four days of holiday on other days of the week. There will be 52 days off throughout the summer holidays, which will include festivals, anniversaries, and other special occasions.
Mahashivratri on
Mahashivratri is on March 1st, Holi begins on March 16th and ends on March 19th, and Durga Puja Kalash begins on September 26th. Durga Puja will be observed for five days from Gandhi Jayanti to October 5. This calendar was created by a committee of Vice-Chancellors from Patna University, Patliputra University, and Munger University.
