Motorola’s waterproof smartphone is set to make a splash, and it won’t break even if it falls; learn more about the amazing features

The Motorola Defy Rugged Smartphone will be released soon. The National Telecommunications Agency of Brazil has certified Motorola Defy. The phone will be waterproof, which means it will not corrode if submerged in water. Let’s take a look at the Motorola Defy Rugged Phone.

In June 2021, Motorola released the Defy Rugged Phone in Europe, including Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a triple camera configuration, and a larger battery. However, despite its launch, the phone has yet to be spotted in Brazil. The Motorola Defy has now been certified by Brazil’s National Telecommunications Agency, indicating that it will be released soon. A phone with the model number XT2083-8 is shown on the certification, which is a Motorola Defy Rugged smartphone. The Brazilian Telecommunications Authority has given its approval for its release in the region.

The camera on the Motorola Defy will be fantastic.

TudoCelular has also managed to release some images of the phone, giving us a good look at it. The smartphone has a big display and a triple camera arrangement with a 48MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. The adapter has a charging speed of 20W.

Motorola Defy specifications

Aside from that, the phone is already accessible in a few European countries. A 6.5-inch dew-drop notch display with HD+ resolution is included. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection is included, which is uncommon in a budget phone.

Defy battery by Motorola

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 CPU is combined with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage in the smartphone. It sports a 5,000mAh battery with 20W rapid charging capability. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the back and runs Android 10 out of the box.

The Motorola Defy will be water-resistant.

It has an IP68 water-resistant rating and can be used in temperatures ranging from +55°C to -25°C because it is a strong phone.
