Microsoft’s latest offering in the Surface lineup – Surface Laptop Studio is now here in India. The Surface Laptop Studio was first introduced last year with the Surface Duo 2 smartphone. Surface Laptop Studio is already up for pre-order through partners. It will be available for purchase from March 8 through commercial authorized resellers and select retail and online partners.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Specifications
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio flaunts a 14.4-inch PixelSense Flow display with a resolution of 2,400 X 1,600 pixels, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 10-point multi-touch, 3:2 aspect ratio, and Dolby Vision. The laptop comes with a unique Dynamic Wave Hinge, which is said to be ultra-durable and enables the laptop to be used in three different modes – Laptop Mode, Stage Mode or Studio Mode. There is a 1080p HD front-facing camera that can be used with Windows Hello to unlock the laptop. In addition, the laptop has a backlit keyboard and a precision haptic touchpad.
The Surface Laptop Studio is powered by an Intel Core i7-11370H processor paired with either Iris Xe graphics or 4GB of GDDR6 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU in the i7 model. The chip under the hood comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 2TB of removable SSD storage. The laptop comes with a Hardware TPM 2.0 chip for enterprise security, BitLocker support, and Windows Enhanced Hardware Security. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 6ax, Bluetooth 5.1, dual USB 4.0 with Thunderbolt 4, and Surface Connect port.
Both models have a 58KWh battery and come with 65W and 102W power adapters respectively. Mircosoft promises that the Core i7 variant can last up to 18 hours, while the Core i5 model promises to last for over an hour.
The laptop comes with a brand new Surface Slim Pen 2 that rests under the keyboard. The redesigned sharp tip on the Slim Pen 2 provides a fine point of view on writing, shading, and inking. It has a zero-pressure force and ultra-low latency for greater control and accuracy.
