These days the central and state governments are being kind to the common people toward the employed people. Governments aim to make everyone happy and empowered. Meanwhile, if there is a central employee in your house, then the good news is going to come, which will benefit many lakhs of people. A few days ago, the Central Government announced to increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) to the employees, but now everyone is eagerly waiting for its arrival. In such a situation, the question is arising in the minds of all the employees when the increased DA will come into the account.
Now it is being speculated that the increase in dearness allowance will start coming from July. The government has not officially announced this, but it is being claimed in some media reports. At the same time, the calculation of dearness allowance will also be done in a changing way. It is being told that in July, the increased DA in salary will come into the account through an add-on. However, it has not been announced yet. But according to sources, the top officials have already held a meeting regarding this.
At the same time, dearness allowance is to be given to the government employees of the Center and the states to improve the standard of living. This allowance is a part of the pay structure so that the standard of living of the employee does not matter even after the increase in inflation. Dearness allowance is given to government employees and public sector employees and dearness relief to pensioners.
Calculation of dearness allowance will be like this
The amount of dearness allowance is calculated by multiplying the current rate of dearness allowance of the Seventh Pay Commission by the basic pay. If your basic pay is 56,900 DA (56,900 x 12) / Rs 100, then the percentage rate is 12%. Percentage of Dearness Allowance = average of CPI for the last 12 months – 115.76. Now the number that will come will be divided by 115.76, the number that will come will be multiplied by 100.
