Amarnath Yatra 2022: Official start of the yatra begins tomorrow under heavy security, with the first batch of LG flagged off.

Kashmir and Jammu LG From the Jammu base camp, Manoj Sinha led the first group of Amarnath Yatra pilgrims off. The official start of the yearly Amarnath Yatra (Amarnath Yatra 2022) is tomorrow, June 30. This yatra, which has been closed for the past two years because to the Corona epidemic, is expected to draw a record number of pilgrims. For the Yatra, strict security arrangements have been implemented. More than eight lakh pilgrims are expected to attend the Yatra this year, according to the Jammu and Kashmir administrations.

Security Force Alertness – LG

LG Sinha earlier stated that the residents of the Union Territory are eager to welcome the visiting pilgrims while reviewing the security of the Yatra. Sinha assessed the plans for the pilgrimage while he was at the Yatri Niwas base camp in Bhagwatinagar. Security forces are on alert, according to Sinha. Ample preparations have been made to ensure that the yatra runs well.

In Jammu-LG, 5000 security personnel will be stationed.

Amarnath Yatra will begin on two routes on June 30. The first, 48-kilometer-long, conventional route begins at Pahalgam, South Kashmir. The second, 14-kilometer circuit begins in Baltal, in the heart of Kashmir. Notably, the 2019 yatra was halted midway by Article 370, and the yatra was then prevented from happening for two years by the Kovid plague. Three lakh pilgrims have enrolled for the Yatra as of this point. He stated that for the pilgrimage, at least 5,000 security officers would be stationed in Jammu city.

The pilgrimage will go on until August 11.

The Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) is organizing everything for the pilgrims who want to travel there. In addition to this, he has also set up an online darshan for people who are unable to travel. The board has requested that travelers bring an Aadhar card or other document that has undergone biometric authentication. Beginning on June 30 and concluding on August 11, the day of Raksha Bandhan, is this yatra.
