The country’s pandemic death toll has risen to 5,26,600 with 70 deaths in the past 24 hours, while the overall number of patients has increased to 4,41,07,588. Additionally, the daily infection rate has risen to 5.14 percent. 1,35,364 cases are active.

While 17,135 new corona cases were recorded on Wednesday, 19,893 new cases were reported yesterday. On Friday, they grew even more and surpassed 20,000. However, compared to Thursday, there were fewer active cases. On Thursday, there were 1,36,478 patients receiving treatment; on Friday, that number dropped to 1,35,364.
