Indian Railways Rules: Now you can travel by train without ticket, Railways made special rules

Indian Railways rules: If you travel by train then there is good news for you. Now if you ever have to travel suddenly and you do not have a ticket then there is no need to panic. Because now you can travel even without reservation rules. Earlier, there was only one option for Tatkal ticket booking rules. But it is not necessary to take a ticket in that too. In such a situation, it is very important for you to know a special rule of railways. With this facility, you can now travel without reservation.

Travel on platform ticket

According to the rules of the railway, if you do not have a reservation and you have to go somewhere by train, then you can board the train only by taking a platform ticket. By visiting the ticket checker, you may easily obtain tickets made. This rule (Indian Railway Rules) has been made by the Railways itself. You must take a platform ticket and promptly contact TTE for this. Then TTE will generate the ticket to your destination point.

There is an option even if the seat is not vacant

TTE may refuse to give you a reserved seat if there is no vacant seat in the train. But, can’t stop traveling. If you do not have a reservation, then the passenger should get a ticket made by paying the total fare of the journey along with a penalty charge of Rs 250. You need to be aware of these crucial railroad regulations.

Platform ticket price

The holder of a platform ticket is permitted to board the train. The traveler must also pay the fare from the same station where he obtained the platform ticket in addition to this. The leaving station will also be charged the same fare as the arrival station. The greatest factor is that you will also be required to pay the fare for the same class of transportation.

your seat

That is, if you arrive at the following two stations before the train, you can finish your journey. However, bear in mind that after two stations, TTE may provide a seat to a traveller holding a RAC ticket. But you have a choice of two stations.
