A taxpayer has 30 days for verification if his ITR is submitted after July 31st. Those who submit their returns by July 31st will have 120 days to verify them. If a taxpayer files their return on August 1st in this case, the deadline for their verification expires on August 31st. The return won’t be considered finished without verification.
