Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara: The recently introduced new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara mid-size SUV is getting a good response from the people. It is to be launched soon, but even before the launch, the company has received over 55,000 bookings for it, taking the waiting period for its delivery to 5.5 months. That is, if a person books a new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara today, then he will be able to get delivery next year only. Let us tell you that in the mid-size SUV space, the new Maruti Grand Vitara will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the recently launched Toyota Urban Cruiser Highrider.

The carmaker has already confirmed that the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will come in 6 trims- Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, and Alpha+. Apart from Zeta+ and Alpha+, all trims will be offered with a 1.5L petrol mild hybrid powertrain (103bhp). These will get the option of a 5-speed manual gearbox and 6-speed automatic transmission. A 6-speed automatic transmission will be available in the Delta trim. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki’s AllGrip Select AWD system will be available with a manual gearbox only on the Zeta and Alpha trims. The Zeta+ and Alpha+ variants will get a 1.5L strong hybrid powertrain (114bhp), mated to an e-CVT gearbox.

The Zeta+ and Alpha+ trims get exclusive features like a leather steering wheel, black leather seats, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, upgraded sound system, puddle lamps, heads-up display, wireless charger, and 7.0-inch full-digital instrument. Cluster, dashboard ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, dark gray front and rear skid plates, silver roof rails, tire pressure monitor, and dual-tone color scheme.

The standard fitment list includes electrically adjustable wing mirrors, steering mounted controls, 4.2-inch TFT display in the instrument cluster, auto air conditioning, rear AC vents, keyless entry and go, rear center armrest, rear parking sensors, and dual airbags with EBD. ESP with hill hold, ISOFIX mount, and 3-point seatbelt for all sets.
