Airtel Payments Bank has started setting up 1.5 lakh micro ATMs in Tier-II tier cities and semi-urban areas to facilitate cash withdrawal. In the information given by the company, it was told that the ATM will be started in a systematic manner.

The Bank will gradually expand its service to cover more banking sectors in a systematic manner. The company said that the bank will initially launch 1.5 lakh units in Tier-II category cities and semi-urban areas. These areas usually have a high demand for cash withdrawal services but limited access to ATMs.
1.5 Lakh Micro ATMs
To be set up by March The company plans to install 1.5 lakh micro ATMs by the end of the current financial year. That is, in six months till March, 1.5 lakh ATMs will be installed in a hurry.
Airtel Payments Bank is now integrated with the National Financial Switch (NFS) of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to facilitate micro ATM transactions. The bank said that we are committed to building a financially inclusive India by making banking services accessible to all.
