PUC Certificate: Petrol will not be available in Delhi after October 25 without pollution certificate, know what is the reason

PUC Certificate Delhi Price: If you live in Delhi then you must read this news. The Delhi government on Wednesday issued a directive to all petrol pumps. to provide fuel to only those vehicle owners who have a valid ‘Pollution Control Certificate’ for their vehicles.

Notice issued from

Transport Department Delhi’s Transport Department has issued. a notice directing all vehicle owners to check their vehicles for PUCC whose vehicles (except electric or battery-operated vehicles) are more than 1 year old from the date of registration. Huh.

10,000 fine and 3 years imprisonment The

The transport department asked the vehicle owners to get a valid PUC Certificate before October 25 to avoid inconvenience and action under the law. The notice states that ‘driving a vehicle without a valid PUCC is punishable with a fine of Rs 10,000 and imprisonment for 3 years or with both. The administration has made this difficult choice in light of Delhi’s pollution issue.

What is the reason,

The Environment Department is considering issuing a notification to make it mandatory for all dealers of petrol, diesel, and CNG pumps to have valid PUCC from October 25. Vehicles must be sold fuel only on display. The problem of severe air pollution in Delhi is seen from October to December. Due to the burning of stubble in the surrounding areas, fog remains in Delhi. and people find it difficult to breathe.

The damage to the environment

Vehicles have a big role in spreading the air pollution that has been going on on the old road for many years. Even after the action of the traffic department, the effort is insufficient. The fact that these vehicles must pass the PUCC test demonstrates that pollution is under control and there is no harm being done to the environment. It is seen that after the expiry of the PUCC certificate, people drive vehicles on the roads. Now such people should not get petrol.

There are so many checking centers in

The Transport Department of the Government of Delhi has set up 954 pollution check centers in Delhi. which run at petrol pumps and workshops. PUC certificates can be obtained at these centers. Before this, the pollution of the vehicle will be checked and a certificate will be given on the basis of that. Additionally, you will have the option of ordering this certificate online. For this, a certificate will have to be taken by visiting the website of the vehicle transport.
