The Rajasthan government has brought a big gift for the women living in the state. Actually, the Ashok Gehlot government of the state has announced the date of giving free smartphones to women. Rajasthan’s Women and Child Development Minister Mamta Bhupesh has informed that a campaign to provide free mobile phones to women will be started in the month of December this year. This means from next month mobile will be available for free. Apart from free phones, it will also give free calls and messages for three years. 1.32 crore phones will be given
Under the ‘Chief Minister Digital Seva Yojana’, 1.32 crore women in the state will get these phones. Not only this, according to the government, the phone will get the benefit of free internet, calls, and messages for 3 years. At the same time, it is being told that for three years, SIM cards will also be given free along with 5 GB data, and local and STD call messages every month.
Regarding this scheme, Minister Mamta Bhupesh says that women will be empowered by this. Along with this, information is also being received that the price of the phone will be around 9500 rupees. Significantly, the Rajasthan government will distribute mobile phones to the women heads of Chiranjeevi families under the ‘Free Mobile Scheme 2022’.

According to the information revealed in media reports, after December 15, 2022, phones will be distributed by setting up camps in every gram panchayat. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot says that children of poor families can also study through online mediums through the phone. However, the information about which company’s phone will be free has not been revealed yet. But, it is being told that tenders have been issued to three companies and the budget has come to around Rs 12,000 crore.
