For this, you must first log in with your IRCTC ID. Here on the home page, you have to click on ‘Link Your Aadhaar’ in the ‘My Account option. After this, you will have to enter the information like name, Aadhaar number, and Virtual ID as entered in your Aadhaar card. After which ‘Send OTP’ has to be selected by going to the check box.
Indian Railways Ministry has also given information about this by tweeting. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, the Railways is giving the facility to book 24 tickets. The limit for booking tickets in a month has been increased if the user ID is linked to Aadhaar.
To take advantage of this facility, your Aadhaar card must be linked. If Aadhaar is not linked then you can book only 12 tickets. At the same time, earlier those whose ID was not linked to Aadhaar could book only 6 tickets.
Let us tell you that IRCTC has told you that if your Aadhaar card is also linked to IRCTC, then you will get the facility to book 24 reserved tickets every month.
