Bajaj Platina 110 ABS Launched: If you are thinking of buying an affordable commuter bike, then a new option has been added to the market. Bajaj Auto has launched the updated Platina 110 ABS in the Indian market. The starting price of the 2023 Bajaj Platina 110 ABS in India has been kept at Rs 72,224 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The special thing is that it is the first and only motorcycle in the 110cc segment to come with ABS. The company is offering 4 color options with this bike.
Engine and Gearbox
The new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS is powered by a 115.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This engine generates a power of 8.4 bhp at 7,000 RPM and a peak torque of 9.81 Nm at 5,000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It gets a halogen headlamp unit with LED DRL, semi-digital instrument cluster, 17-inch wheels, and an 11-liter capacity fuel tank
Features of Bajaj Platina 110 ABS
The bike gets telescopic front forks and dual spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes with a single-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The bike features a digital instrument cluster, which displays a lot of information. In this, apart from gear position, and gear guidance, you also get an ABS alert.
Bajaj Platina competes with Hero Splendor Plus, Honda CD 110 Dream, and TVS Star City Plus in the Indian market. Platina is one of the best-selling motorcycles of the company. It sold 33,702 units last month. Compared to 60,646 units sold in November 2021, sales have decreased by 44.4 percent.
